"On behalf of all of the staff at Prohealth, I'd like to welcome you to our company website. I consider myself fortunate to be the Organisational Clinical Director of a fantastic group of Counsellors, Therapists, Supervisors, Lecturers, Volunteers and Admin staff. I have always been impressed by the integrity, dedication and passionate enthusiasm which all of our members exhibit and I hope you will be too. This website gives details of the key functions of the company and we are always ready and willing to provide details on our staffs' areas of expertise or professional interest. All of our staff are highly trained, fully insured and members of appropriate professional governing bodies.  Our ethos is an holistic one, focused on the whole, and is represented both in our jigsaw logos and in the diagram below. Dr Rebecca Lunson Southall

 

Becky is the Clinical Director, Lead Therapist and Supervisor at Prohealth. Accredited by the UKCP and BABCP, she is a pluralistic practitioner with 15 years experience. She has specialist expertise in trauma treatment in both adult and child clients. A published author, she is responsible for audit and research within the agency and is the head lecturer for all of our courses.  She is registered with most major health insurance providers.

Jenn Valentine

Jenn is our resident mindfulness practitioner. Jenn is an artist and a keen crafter. Mindfulness and meditation are a large part of Jenn's life and she illuminates both the staff and clients at Prohealth with her perfect balance of peace and vibrance. Jenn is keen to help others overcome difficulties in their personal and word lives with sound-bathing and mindfulness sessions.

Having Mindfulness sessions can make you more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Using mindfulness you learn how to suspend judgement and self-criticism.

Alan Naughton
Specialist Integrative Psychotherapist 
PGDip Counselling, PG Cert CBT,
PG Cert IPT, Dip EMDR

Alan is an integrative psychotherapist. He works within an existential framework, drawing upon knowledge, training, and experience from different therapeutic approaches and schools of thought all to tailor his work to his client's individual needs. He primarily works with adults presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. He also has interests in psychopharmacology and the relationship between physical health and psychological wellbeing. Alan works at the company headquarters near Lichfield and also in Stafford.

Anna Graham

Anna is a Specialist Psychological Therapist specialising in trauma treatment, she utilises techniques such as EMDR, Rewind, and NET. Anna originally trained as a person-centred counsellor and has completed various other pieces of training over the years, particular passions of hers include supporting survivors of sexual abuse and she has a background of working with survivors within a specialist charity. Other particular areas of experience include postnatal depression, bereavement, and couples counselling.

Loran Yates

Loran is an Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist who has a broad interest in a range of concerns. She has some particular passion within her work, including anxiety, self-harm and self-esteem. Loran has completed her masters thesis exploring the impact of counselling relationships and the disclosure of self-harm highlighting a particular passion for her. With an experience of working within different therapeutic settings including youth work with young people and adults with special educational needs, group work and also 1 to 1 counselling sessions using a range of techniques.

Andrew Lunson

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and as such co-ordinates all of the financial matters for the company. He is also the liaison point for all course applications and fee accounts for commissioned projects, students or private clients.

Valerie Lunson

Valerie is the CEO and curriculum manager responsible for all areas of administration and liaison with external training partners which Prohealth works with. She also manages the counselling placements.

Please note all of our therapists listed here also have listings for their private practice via other networks such as Counselling Directory, BUPA, BACP. There work there is covered by the policies and procedures of each body.

 

Please contact them directly if you wish to self-fund your sessions with an individual practitioner in their private practice rather than communicating via Prohealth. 

QUALITY ASSURANCE

All of our selected practitioners have trained in the UK’s foremost counselling institutions at the highest levels. They have many years of combined experience in the NHS, charities and private sectors in and around the UK. All of our part-time practitioners are registered with one or more of the following professional practice bodies which covers their in-house work for Prohealth: All therapists also have their own separate private practices and may work for other agencies.
