Anxiety

Anxiety is a feeling of unease, fear or apprehension about what’s to come. Often our bodies respond to stress with anxiety and most people will feel anxious at some point in their life, such as before sitting an exam or going to a job interview.

Post-traumatic stress disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and acute stress disorder (ASD) are anxiety disorders caused by events you found terrifying or disturbing.

Eating disorders

Eating disorders are psychological conditions that compel sufferers to make abnormal choices involving food, in a way that is damaging to their physical health. 

Depression

From time to time, everyone feels sad or low in mood. However, if you are suffering with depression you experience intense emotions such as sadness, hopelessness, numbness, despondency, low self-esteem and anxiety for long periods of time.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder

 OCD is when a person experiences long-standing recurring and hard to control thoughts known as obsessions coupled with compulsion which involves engaging in repetitive behaviours.

Mood Disorders

Experiencing emotional ups and downs is common. Life can present us with people and situations that lead to moodiness, agitation, and irritability. However, healthy individuals are usually able to rebound from these challenges and find emotional balance.
