Dyslexia
Symptoms of dyslexia include struggling with academic skills such as reading, writing and speech order. Sometimes memory issues may also be experienced.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
There are three subtypes of ADHD and are often experienced in combination. Inattentive relates to difficulty with focus and organization. Hyperactivity is characterised by excessive movement and difficulty with stillness when required. Impulsivity involves lack of control of responses regardless of consequences.
Developmental Language Disorder
Characteristics include interference with language usage and learning. The symptoms are not due to other conditions such as ASD .
Dyspraxia
This condition is associated with coordination and movement difficulties. Often affecting motor skills required for tasks such as sports and balance.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
ASD can be characterised by trouble with social interactions, sensory regulation as well as a inflexible behaviour, routine and interest pattern. People suffering from ASD may have limited verbal communication.
Dyscalculia
Symptoms include challenges in interpreting numbers and calculations, those which should be achievable at the individuals intellect level.
